**UPDATE: Tuesday May 12, 2026-- Becky Jo passed away this morning at 8:04 am. She is surrounded by her children and husband.
My mother-in-law, Becky, is loved by all who cross her path. Over the years, she has created a huge family full of not just her 4 biological children, and 3 step children, she is also always welcoming new people into her life. Even at the nursing home, Becky continued to be Miss Popular, spreading warmth and kindness wherever she went.
Becky worked her entire life until she couldn't. She was a beloved dispatcher for Peoria police and then different towing companies. She was the best tow dispatcher in the state of Arizona. Every company wanted her. Besides her job, Becky's pride and joy has always been her family. She will tell everyone she meets about her beautiful children and 18 grandchildren.
Sadly, Becky is currently on hospice and will soon pass. She has been struggling with heart disease and kidney disease since before 2020. After fighting congestive heart failure and organ failure, followed by years of dialysis, she is now nearing the end of her journey. She has spent the last couple of days trying to hold on, but we know the end is near. Unfortunately, hardship followed hardship, and our family cannot afford to put her to rest.
The funds raised will help cover funeral expenses and memorial services for Becky. Any support you can offer means so much to our family during this difficult time. We are grateful for every bit of help as we honor Becky’s life and legacy.
