Help Honor Bailey Bean’s Memory

Bailey Bean joined our family as a support friend for my other dog, Aries, who lost her biological dad last October. From the moment Bailey arrived, he brought comfort, joy, and a playful spirit that lifted all of our hearts. He quickly became Aries’ best friend, always ready to play and share his love. Bailey’s presence helped our family heal, and he truly left his paw prints on each of us.

Just two days ago, Bailey started feeling unwell. At first, I thought it might be the heat, but his condition quickly worsened. He couldn’t keep any food or water down, so I rushed him to MedVet in Dayton. The team there did everything they could, but they told me it was a 50/50 chance. I wanted Bailey to be surrounded by family, so I brought him home. When he passed, he was in my arms, hearing how much he was loved, with Aries by his side. It was heartbreaking, but I’m grateful he wasn’t alone.

Cremating Bailey means a lot to me. Having a loved one’s memorial nearby helps me feel that a part of them is still with me, and it brings comfort to remember the good times. I plan to keep Bailey’s ashes in my curio cabinet, right beside my other dog Neiko, who passed away last year. I’m also planning to disinfect my house and yard so Aries and other animals that come over don’t get sick, and I need help with supplies for that as well. Right now, I’m in-between projects for work and don’t have the funds to cover these unexpected expenses. Any support will help me honor Bailey’s memory, keep my pets safe, and bring comfort to our family.
