Our family is heartbroken after the loss of Emmaura, the first baby girl we were all waiting for with so much love. Emmanuel and Laura, my brother and his wife, combined their names to create Emmaura’s, a name that meant so much to them. At 36 weeks pregnant, Laura was told there was no heartbeat. She had to go through a natural birth, a deeply traumatic experience, in order to give herself the best chance to have children in the future. Holding Emmaura for the first and last time was devastating for everyone.
Emmaura was Emmanuel and Laura’s first baby, and she was already so loved by our entire family. We are all in disbelief and trying to be strong for one another, sharing hugs and tears as we grieve. Laura and Emmanuel feel empty and heartbroken, and our family is struggling to process this loss. Emmaura was going to be our little princess, and her absence leaves a space that can never be filled.
We are raising funds to help cover funeral costs and memorial services for Emmaura. Your support, whether through donations or kind words, would mean so much to our family during this incredibly difficult time. Please help Emmanuel and Laura as they navigate the hardest moment of their lives. Any contribution will help us honor Emmaura’s memory and support her parents as they heal.
