On Tuesday, May 20th, our world was shaken by the heartbreaking loss of Asia Kelson, a beautiful soul who tragically ended her life far from home. Her passing has left a profound hole in the hearts of her family, friends and the many communities whose lives she touched. She was a daughter, a sister, a friend, a creative spirit, and most of all—a mother. She leaves behind her baby boy, the light of her life, who she loved with every fiber of her being. He was her world.
Now, Asia's mother is facing not only the overwhelming grief of losing her child, but also the unexpected financial burden of bringing her daughter home to Utah from Minnesota, where she passed. Transporting her body across state lines is a cost no family is ever prepared for, especially in the midst of such a devastating tragedy.
This fundraiser is a way for all of us—those who knew Asia in person, online, through gaming, creativity, or the countless lives she touched during her travels—to come together and honor her memory. Let’s honor her by ensuring she can get home and be laid to rest with the peace and dignity she deserves.
Your donation will go directly toward covering the costs of transporting Asia home as well as, easing the financial burden of funeral expenses. Donations will go directly to Asia’s Mother(Tonya). No amount is too small. Even a share can help reach others who knew her or would want to honor her in some way.
