Our family is experiencing the most heartbreaking time of our lives. My sister, Arelis "Ari" Rodriguez, is only 25 years old. After a long and courageous battle with metastatic, terminal neuroblastoma, today she lost her battle to cancer. Her cancer has continued to spread throughout her bones, brain and vital organs. Despite the unimaginable pain she has endured, Ari has remained one of the strongest, kindest, and most hopeful people we know. She always found a way to smile, lift the spirits of those around her, and remind us to cherish even the smallest moments.

As our family prepares to say goodbye, we are facing the emotional and financial burden of planning her funeral. We are also hoping to ease some of the financial strain on our mother, who has been out of work while caring for Ari throughout her illness and will need additional time to grieve after her passing.
