My momma, April Cardwell Newman, had a heart attack Monday morning around 9:40 am. My daddy fought to resuscitate her while he waited for the paramedics. She was without oxygen for 20+ minutes. Today, Tuesday, March 11th, 2025, she was pronounced brain dead.

Today she will be doing the heros walk to the OR for organ donation. Please have us in your thoughts today.

My heart is broken and it's hard to ask, especially with everything that has happened, but we need your help.

My momma's wishes were to be cremated and buried under a spring of our willow tree we had planted at my childhood home.
