In Loving Memory of Annette Janine Simon

April 20, 1968 – December 17, 2025

With broken hearts but faith in Christ, we share that Annette Janine Simon has passed away and returned to her Heavenly Father on December 17, 2025. She fought bravely, endured faithfully, and is now at peace.

As a family, we trust in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ:

“I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.”

(John 11:25)

“And death hath no sting, victory is swallowed up in Christ.”

(Mosiah 16:8)

“They who die in the Lord shall not taste of death, for it shall be sweet unto them.”

(Doctrine & Covenants 42:46)

Original Post-My name is Marco Antonio "Tony" Simon, and Today I am facing the most painful moment of my life. My beloved wife, Annette Janine Simon, is in her final days after a long and courageous battle with illness. Doctors have told us she only has days left, and I am doing everything I can to care for her, comfort her, and prepare myself for a goodbye I never imagined would come this soon.

Annette is more than my wife- She is my companion, my strength, and the heart of our family. Anyone who knows her will tell you the same; She is kind, humble, and always thinking about others before herself. Even through her suffering, she never complained. She simply loved.

As many know, I have been by her side every minute. I am her caregiver, and with her condition worsening, it has become extremely difficult to manage both her care and the unexpected financial responsibilities that come with planning.

Why I am asking for help

Funeral expenses are overwhelming, and I want to honor Annette with dignity and peace she deserves. Unfortunately, we were not prepared for this moment to come so quickly.

Many family members and friends, including those in different states and in Germany, have asked how they can help and where they can safely send financial support. This GoFundMe allows everyone -near or far- to contribute in one simple and secure place.
