In Loving Memory of Anna
Donation protected
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help in giving my beloved mother, Anna, the peaceful and dignified farewell she truly deserves. Right now, covering the costs of a proper wake, funeral, and burial is beyond our means, and any support would mean more than words can express.
My mother spent her life serving others. As an EMT with the West Babylon Fire Department, she found purpose and pride in helping people during their most vulnerable moments. It was more than a job to her; it was her calling. Later in life, she stepped away from that role to help raise her granddaughter, always putting her family first.
She endured heartbreaking losses; my sister Kelly, who passed just this past August, and my son Trent, who died at only 22. Those losses weighed heavily on her. Not long after Kelly’s funeral, we found out my mom had been quietly battling stage 4 colon cancer. It had already spread throughout her body. She spent only a few days in hospice before passing, surrounded by love.
My mom was strong, selfless, and full of heart. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. I’m her only son, and I just want to honor her the way she honored all of us with love, care, and respect. Any help you can give would be deeply appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read her story and for your compassion and support.
