Hi, my name is Jacob. My family and I are starting a GoFundMe for my mom, Amy Thomas, who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer last February and immediately had a colon resection. From there, she was placed on chemotherapy, where she was originally doing chemo every other week. The cancer originally started slowing, but over the last 5 months, she has had to do chemo every week.

On Friday, April 25th, my mom was admitted into the hospital due to severe pain in her stomach area. She had surgery Monday night to remove her colon and move her small intestine to the skin. The doctors found that the cancer had spread to her liver and also caused multiple blood clots, one that is on the main line going from her liver straight to her heart. She has now been placed in palliative care because we were told that there is nothing more that can be done.

My mom is such an amazing person and is always there for others. We are asking for help for her to have a memorial service after life and to help with having her cremated. Any help is a lot of help. We just ask for a little help.
