Amy was the kind of person who could light up even the darkest room. She had the biggest heart, always caring for those around her—especially the animals she loved so much. At her apartment complex, she was known for feeding and loving all the stray cats, making sure none of them ever felt alone. Amelia leaves behind her 16-year-old daughter, Lily, and her life partner, Tom, who both meant the world to her. Her kindness, warmth, and generosity touched everyone she met, and her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her.

Tragically, Amelia passed away very unexpectedly, leaving our family in shock and grief. She did not have life insurance or a will, which has made this difficult time even harder. We want to honor her memory with a beautiful celebration of life, but the costs of funeral and memorial services are more than our family can manage on our own. Any support you can offer will go directly toward these expenses, and if there is anything left, it will help Lily and Tom find a new place to live as they begin to rebuild their lives.

Amy’s celebration of life is tentatively planned for Tuesday November 25th at 6 pm and will take place at Trinity Memorial Center in Kingsport.
