Help Honor Alyssa's Memory

On Friday, August 1st, our community experienced an unimaginable tragedy - the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Alyssa DeMichele. Alyssa was truly the best person, and her presence was the light of any room she entered. She had an infectious smile, a loving heart, and a spirit that touched everyone who knew her. Her laughter, kindness, and generous nature brought so much joy to her friends and family. She was the most giving person, always willing to do anything for anybody, even when she received nothing in return. Alyssa was so full of life and ambition, and her sudden loss has left her friends and family completely devastated.

As most can understand, the loss of Alyssa was unexpected and not something any of us were prepared for. We have been overwhelmed by the number of people expressing their wish to assist with the financial expenses related to her passing. Any amount of funds raised will be used to get Alyssa back home from Kansas City and for the Celebration of Life currently being planned. Any amount, no matter how small, will help us honor her memory and say goodbye in the way that she deserves.

The most important thing to Alyssa was her daughter Madeline, age 6. Since becoming a mother, Alyssa has devoted her entire life to creating the most beautiful and stable life for her daughter. To honor what we believe her wishes would be, any amount of funds that are raised that go beyond what is needed for her celebration of life and getting her back home will be put in a trust for Maddie.
