This morning, our world changed forever. Just yesterday, Alicia Aguilar Sanchez was full of life — laughing, loving, and being everything she has always been to us: a devoted mother, an adoring grandmother, a faithful wife, a cherished daughter, a caring niece, and a wonderful neighbor. She had a heart that made room for everyone. She showed up. She gave freely. She loved deeply. Today, the sun rose… but it didn’t rise for her.

Her passing was sudden and completely unexpected, and our family is still trying to process this unimaginable loss. The silence she leaves behind is heavy, but so is the love she poured into all of us. That love will carry us forward.
