Help Honor Al Popp's Legacy with a Proper Farewell
Donation protected
Hello my name is Kathy Popp, Wife of Alan Popp,
I never thought our good bye would be like this. Al started to not feel good for a couple days. If you know him then you know Al hated Dr's. He decided to go to the hospital and when Al arrived he was unresponsive. He had no pulse. They tried all they could do for 20 minutes they gave him CPR. They saved him and brought him back but he was put on a ventilator to help him breath. .
Unfortunately after a few days of being on life support they scanned his brain and seen that he had very low brain activity. My Daughter Jennifer and I decided that was no way he would want to live . Al was an organ donor so his organs along with any skin tissue will be donated.
Al was one hard working man. He worked 6 days a weekand always stayed working in the same neighborhood for over 40 years. He worked for K&M Towing and Atlas Transmission.
He became apart of the neighborhood that he worked and live in. Everyone knows him as Transmission Al. He was a wonderful friend to many. Would help you even if he really didnt have it. He enjoyed playing on the pool league and loved to collect guns.
As we all know life can throw you a curve and this was something my daughter and I weren't prepared for and neither was Al. He had NO life insurance. We are asking for donation to pay for his funeral and memorial service for him. We just want him to be able to finally be at peace. Any amount is helpful towards the cost. Thank you for your kind gestures and sharing the love for Al
