I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help during one of the most difficult times in my life. My mother recently passed away, and I'm doing everything I can to give her the peaceful, dignified farewell she deserves through cremation. Unfortunately, the costs have become overwhelming as we discovered she did not have insurance and I’m humbly asking for support to cover these final expenses.

My mom was a truly one-of-a-kind soul. She lived life on her own terms—boldly, fiercely, and with an endless amount of love for the wild things. Animals weren’t just her passion—they were her purpose. Over the years, she devoted her life to wildlife rehabilitation, caring for injured and orphaned animals with tenderness and determination. She even raised hybrid wolves, understanding them in a way few ever could. Her bond with animals was deep, intuitive, and beautiful. She recently became partners-in-crime with our year old cat Pippin and our 10 month old puppy Marcy who miss her so much already.

She didn’t follow anyone’s rules but her own, and that’s what made her so special. She taught me to go my own way and to love without conditions.

Now, I want to honor her in a way that reflects her spirit. The cremation and related services are expected to cost $5-8,000 and any contribution—no matter how small—would mean the world to me and help ease this burden.
