With a heavy heart, I will unfortunately be laying my beautiful & courageous mother to rest. She’s fought for 20 years as a sick single mother, with COPD, heart failure & dementia. She stood the test of life until God called her home. I’ve done my best alone since I was 10 years old to take care of her. We met many obstacles & challenges but never gave up the fight. Even on her death bed, she made sure to mumble out she loved me, strongest woman ever. It’s always just been just me & her, only child & little to no family besides an amazing uncle & a great group of friends who helped raise me with her. I dropped out of school to take care of her & start working to avoid nursing homes, as that was her fear of being left & forgotten, NEVER.

The past year her condition got worse, I missed days at work & was fired. I will get another job, I’ll never get another mother to love, honor & care for. It’s been a struggle for me mentally & financially but I wasn’t raised to give up or let her fight to love & watch me grow be for nothing. With the lifelong situation, it’s been very hard to get ahead, to save for the rainy & unexpected days. I do need assistance & blessings to help lay her to rest & honor her life in a way that’s as beautiful as her memory will be in my heart. This is the hardest time of my life & any help will be truly appreciated & I will personally help anyone who helps me as I will get through this & build a life to make my momma very proud.
