Help Honor a Brave Mother's Legacy of Love

Donation protected
My name is Angelica, eldest daughter of Jodie. I am the caretaker of my family. I have one son. We are an all disabled household.
My mom was diagnosed with cancer in August of 2024. As we prepared to fight alongside her, she took an unexpected turn for the worse and was taken from us.
on September 29, 2004 I was awoken with a call to be notified of her worsening condition. I authorized her to be placed in the ICU and we managed to make it out there to confer with doctors and say our goodbyes. She was non-responsive..but she heard us. A single tear went down her cheek as she heard my brother Morgan and I convey our gratitude that we got to be her children. It began to become overwhelming and we promised the ICU that we would be back to visit soon. Twenty minutes after our departure, we got the phone call that she had passed. My mom is the epitome of a warrior. She faced a difficult situation with bravery, dignity, and class.
My family is struggling to cope under the crushing weight of grief as we work to process all the tasks that lie before us to put her to rest. I am a full time student trying to better myself so I can pass the benefits of my higher education onto my family. We are an all disabled household and are of limited means. If there are people out there who can contribute to this cause, we would be eternally grateful. If you are unable to donate, we understand and would ask for you to contribute by sharing this link on our behalf so that we can connect with people who may be able to help us.
Her arrangements are being made so we have no service date to provide at this time. Once we have this information, we will update this page.

Donations Will Be Utilized To Cover:
  • Immediate family needs: food, bills my mom normally covers until we reconfigure the family budget
  • Funerary arrangements to honor the final requests made on 9/26 by my mother (this is still TBA. I am making calls to price services.)
  • initiate the probate process
  • Again, once I have the figures I will provide updates.
