Help Honeybun Heal: Emergency Medical Support
Donation protected
Her name is Honey. Aka Honeybun or bunches of oats. She is a blonde-orange tabby and this year in June she had her first birthday. I got her when she was only a couple months old and when I was in a depression pit. Her little squeaks (she doesn’t meow) and her gentle smile when I held her made me know this cat is truly my world.
Saying all this, Honey was recently diagnosed with what the Vet and I both thought was a UTI. She was straining to use the bathroom and she actually started meowing because of how much pain she was in. Undergoing that treatment for the UTI, Honey is not reacting well. Her symptoms BEFORE the medication: straining, little urine and occasionally not making it to her litter box. Nothing too scary but still concerning. Now AFTER medication and treatment. She’s urinating blood, terrible diarrhea and she’s developing a routine of only lying down by my side.
As embarrassing as it is I can’t afford her treatment now. I’m temporarily disabled with overdue bills from eviction and hospital treatment from myself. My phone isn’t even on. I can’t even call to make these appointments as well as get there. I walk to these places and pray for the best. I used everything I had to pay for her appointment and UTI medications. Just to be seen is $125 but unfortunately now it’s beyond a simple visit she needs: Urine Analysis, X-Ray and depending on what we find with her being so young it could range from medication treatments to minor/major surgery.(For the major surgeries even this GoFundMe won’t be enough)I have all of my bills and itemized reports for anyone who needs them, but please from the bottom of my heart please help my Honeybun.
