Honey, a rescued husky, has always been a bright light in her community — greeting everyone at the local coffee shop with wagging tail and a friendly hello. But now, this sweet girl is in a fight for her life.

Honey’s Medical Struggles

Honey was rescued by Julia and Andrew after battling Ehrlichia, a tick-borne illness. With their love and care, Honey recovered, but now she’s facing a new and more complex health crisis. For the past three months, Honey has been battling pain and discomfort, cycling through steroids and medications without lasting relief.

We suspect Honey has IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), and may be dealing with another bout of Ehrlichia, impacting her nervous system and her mobility. To get the answers we need and to determine the best course of action, Honey urgently needs an MRI — an essential test that will cost around $6,000. over the past 3 months her care has cost over $10,000.
