Honey is a sweet, 7-pound Chihuahua mix puppy who was rescued from a homeless encampment. She was left alone in a crate for two days without food, and when I found her, it was clear she was in pain from a broken leg. Despite everything she’s been through, Honey is a wonderful puppy—playful, loving, and full of hope for a better future.

Right now, Honey has a bad limp, and I can see how much her leg hurts her, especially when she tries to play. She needs surgery at Escalon Small Animal Vet to repair her leg and give her the chance to live a pain-free, happy life. Once she’s healed, my goal is to find her a great home where she’ll be cherished and safe.
