Hi everyone,
I’m creating this GoFundMe to support my mom, Honey. If you know her, you know she’s everybody’s mom, everybody’s friend—an incredible light and a true gift to this world. Right now, she needs our help, and I want to do everything I can to support her in this time of need.
As some of you may know, my mom recently had a mild stroke in the cerebellum. She was also newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and has been managing high blood pressure. This has brought on a wave of new medical expenses—hospital bills, medications, physical and occupational therapy, and the need for a completely new lifestyle.
Without insurance and with limited financial resources, my mom, my brother, and I are navigating this all on our own. Honey is unable to work right now, and I’ve left town to be here in the Bay with her and my brother, which has made things even tighter financially.
I’m asking for your support to help Honey make a full recovery and to help our family through this difficult time. Any contribution, big or small, means the world to us. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this with others who might be able to help is just as valuable.
How the Funds Will Help:
We’re setting a goal of $50,000 to ensure Honey gets the care and support she needs. This will go toward medical expenses, including hospital bills, medications, and ongoing physical and occupational therapy. It will also help cover in-home nursing care, adjustments to make her home safer and more accessible, and essential living costs while she’s unable to work. Additionally, we want to bring in a financial advisor to help navigate medical coverage options and long-term care planning. Every dollar will go directly toward Honey’s recovery and well-being, giving her the best chance at healing and maintaining a stable, healthy life.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love, kindness, and support. Honey has given so much to the people around her, and I know she has an incredible community behind her. Let’s help her get the care and support she needs.
