I rescued Honey Bee - the sweetest girl in the world - last June when she was about 4 months old. I immediately noticed that she was leaking urine when sitting, walking, and sleeping, and then learned she'd had UTIs while in foster care. This problem, along with recurring UTIs, has continued the entire time she's been with us.
After spending a couple of thousand dollars on tests, medical care, and specialists, it was determined that Honey needs a very expensive surgery to correct an ectopic ureter. Unfortunately, I've had some major unexpected life changes recently and am not in any sort of position to take on this much debt, so I'm left with two options:
1. Return her to the rescue with the hope that someone out there is willing to adopt a dog who needs surgery (which would break all of our hearts, including my sweet girls) or
2. Swallow my pride and turn to you for help.
I've chosen to try option 2. If you have even $5 to give, I would be eternally grateful. We are so ready for Honey to be healthy, the house to be puddle-free, and most of all, for bedtime snuggles with our girl. Thank you so much!
Julie
