Hey there, this is QuickStar. They're a teacher of English for people where English isn't their first language, and they've helped so many people all over the world to achieve their language goals, such as helping a student getting into an Ivy League school, along with getting people places in colleges and acquiring new jobs. They've also been able to help a charity worker for a group of LGBTQ youth who were fleeing persecution and students who have been affected by war.

They contend with complex health issues and disabilities that challenge them on a daily basis, but they're managing these more or less OK right now. Due to being forced out of their previous home, they're living out of their car at the moment with their service animal, Bellamy the cat, for company. It's extremely difficult, but they're just about getting by and working hard to turn things around so that they can improve their quality of life and develop their online business into a true digital nomad lifestyle. Unfortunately, the car is showing some signs of age and, though QuickStar has managed to get the car through a smog check and found a way to get a new car battery and a new axle in the last 6 months, the brakes need replacing and there's an oil leak and a coolant leak... and a timing belt and spark plugs, too... The diagnostics alone are almost $500 with tax before any repairs, and that’s money they just don’t have right now and are unable to raise so much from normal English lesson income.

The car is so vital to QuickStar and Bellamy, as it’s their home and only real safe haven, so funding these repairs is extremely important to allow them to live as safely as they can while being in this awful situation of being without a home.
