Help Homeless Pets Canada Society build a shelter!
Donation protected
We are a non-profit organization that brings rescue dogs from Santiago, Chile to be adopted in the Vancouver area. Recently we have been receiving a lot of interest in our cause and in December 2020 we brought 30 dogs to their families in Vancouver! We are seeking support to build our own shelter in Chile so that we can save many more dogs off the streets and have a safe, secure, place to care for them while they wait to come to Canada. All of our foster homes and affiliated shelters are full at the moment and since the pandemic it is estimated that an extra 1 million dogs have been born or abandoned onto the streets for a total of 3.2 million dogs without homes in Chile. Many of the dogs that we rescue are in dire circumstances and our philosophy is that no dog is too late to save. We never say no to any dog that has been brought to us and we pay for their full veterinary recovery until they are ready to be put up for adoption.
On our website we have testimonials and photos of all of the dogs we have rescued to date. Please consider donating and help us to help these dogs! Given the current pandemic restrictions we are not able to bring the dogs from Chile that have been adopted and will continue paying for their shelter/care until we are allowed to fly again. It is our hope that if we are able to raise this money to buy a piece of land outside the city, we can build a space to house 100 dogs at a time!
Even a $10 or $15 donation will make a huge difference if we can share this widely and reach many people who want to help save dogs who have been cast aside by society.
Please share this fundraiser and visit our website for more details about our organization :)
Thank you from all of us at Homeless Pets Canada Society for your support!
