Help! Home Lost to Devastating Fire

Hello everyone! I’m Ashley Drain, the General Manager of the Comfort Suites in Helena, Montana and my front desk clerk, Chuck Thennis really needs our help. 

On Monday February 20th, Chuck arrived home and when he opened his door, he was met with a wall of flames. Chuck’s only thought was his dog, Cinnamon. She was still inside. He tried to get to her, but unfortunately, the smoke and the heat from the flames were too strong. Chuck sustained burns to his face and upper body and was forced outside where he watched his home, his best friend and everything he owned disappear.

We are so grateful that Chuck made it out, but he’s got a long road a head of him. 

Many people in the community have had the pleasure of meeting Chuck, but you may know him by a different name. Every December Chuck puts on his red suit and brings joy to so many. He is our Santa Claus, and it’s our turn to gift him and show our support!
