Urgent Christmas Need at Holy Rosary
Father Tom (DiLorenzo) needs your help. Whether you worship weekly at this small parish in Winthrop; listen daily to the In Season radio broadcast; enjoy the presence of God at the School of the Holy Spirit; or have experienced the healing touch of Jesus at a Saturday vigil Mass, you undoubtedly have been blessed by Father Tom’s ministry. Now you have the opportunity to be a huge blessing to him.
With Christmas Eve only days away, the electrical system in the church has just burned out completely and needs to be totally replaced. The cost of the repairs is in the thousands, with one estimate as high as $25,000. With no electricity, the church is without heat . . .and winter is upon us in Boston!
This parish has been a beacon to so many, and even in the chilly air Holy Rosary will shine brightly, as we gather at Christmas masses (all bundled up) to celebrate the birth of Jesus. But it will take the generosity of many to install new wiring and get the heat on again. Please consider making a financial gift, large or small, to keep the doors open at Holy Rosary this winter. The need is critical.
