Help Holmans' in Kelly's Heart Battle

Meet the Holmans’, a family of five with children ranging in ages from 6-12. Kelly, the mother, is currently hospitalized with a streptococcal infection in her heart. Due to a pre-diagnosed heart condition, the infection has spread to parts of her body, causing blood clots. This is her second hospitalization in 6 months. Kelly needs lifesaving heart surgery, but before she can get it, her platelet count needs to increase tremendously before she is a fit candidate. This requires a lengthy hospitalization.

Kelly needs all the prayers and support she can get as Tim, her husband, holds down the fort with the three children. Knowing this family for over 10 years, I felt compelled to help as they are such a hardworking and kind family. If you can share or donate to the Holmans, it would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: Kelly’s heart surgery is postponed till next week. She is still battling the infection. She is being moved to the Ronald McDonald house until she has the open heart surgery.
