Hi everyone, my name is Holly Russell, and I’m a young driver chasing my dream in Australia and the world of Speedway.

I grew up in Auckland, New Zealand, where I developed a love for racing at a young age of 4, the sound, the adrenaline, and the feeling of pushing the limits became my biggest passion. I took a leap into Speedway racing and, in my very first season competing in the Midget class, I proudly placed 3rd in New Zealand (unofficial) in just my third ever race. That achievement showed me what I was capable of and only made me hungrier to go further.

Now, I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to step up into the Sprintcar division here in Australia, racing for Wildheart Unicorn Motorsport, which is proudly owned by Paul and Gosia Kidd, who are a passionate husband and wife team. This is a huge milestone for me and a dream I’ve been working toward since the day I first got behind the wheel.

Racing at this level comes with big challenges, not just on the track, but financially. To make it to each race meeting and compete throughout the season, I’m raising funds to help cover travel, tyres, entry fees, and the ongoing maintenance of the car. Every bit of support brings me one step closer to being on the grid and representing not just myself, but everyone who believes in me.

My long-term goal is to race professionally in America on the big stage coming from a small town in New Zealand and to be on the Outlaw Sprint car tour and continue building my career in Speedway
