Hi, my name is Holly,

I never thought I would be in a position to ask for help like this—but I’m trying to hold onto the life I’ve worked so hard to rebuild.

For years, I struggled with addiction. It took so much from me—my stability, my marriage, and parts of myself I’m still trying to heal. But today, I am 9 months clean.

That may not sound like a long time to some people, but for me, it’s everything. It’s daily choices, hard moments, and a commitment to not go back to the life I left behind.

Right now, I’m facing another major turning point.

My marriage has ended, and I’ve been asked to leave my home. I don’t have a place to go, and I don’t have the financial means to secure housing on my own. At the same time, I am dealing with serious health issues and upcoming surgery, which has made it impossible for me to work right now.

I also have two dogs who are my emotional support animals. They have been a huge part of my recovery—helping me stay grounded, giving me purpose, and getting me through some of my hardest days. The thought of losing them or not being able to keep them with me during this time is heartbreaking.

I am doing everything I can to stay on my feet and stay clean—but I’m scared of losing the progress I’ve fought so hard for if I don’t have a safe and stable place to land for all of us.

I am asking for help to raise $3,000, which will go toward:

• $1,500 – First month’s rent and deposit for safe, pet-friendly housing

• $900 – Basic living expenses (food, utilities, essentials)

• $600 – Medical and surgery-related costs

This is not easy for me to share. There is a lot of humility in admitting you can’t do everything alone. But I am choosing to fight for my life, my health, and my future.
