Wakelyn is raising funds for Holly, their mom, after a tropical storm in September caused major damage to her home. During the storm, a 100-year-old oak tree fell through the roof, leaving the house in need of urgent repairs. The damage has already reached around $20,000, and this has been especially overwhelming because Holly lives on a fixed Social Security income with very limited means. Holly is also deaf and receives no assistance for her disability, which makes an already difficult situation even harder to manage. Support from this fundraiser will help repair the roof and the other damage to Holly’s home, make the house safe again, and help her regain homeowners insurance. For Wakelyn and their brother, Albert, the biggest hope is knowing Holly can remain safe in her home without facing the same fear and uncertainty again. Please consider helping if you can. Any amount of support will be deeply appreciated, and even sharing this fundraiser would mean so much to Wakelyn’s family during this incredibly stressful time.
