Help Holly, Jasmine, Sonia and Ali Recover After Fire

My best friend Holly’s parents, Sonia and Ali, moved to the Palisades area to provide a safe home for their infant daughters: Holly and Jasmine. Ali is a builder and built their home in 2007 using their life savings for their family and children’s future. They oversaw every nail, screw, wall, and tile being placed and installed. This was a home used for all of us, Holly and Jasmine’s friends, family, everyone who needed a place to stay was welcome.

During the fires, they stayed after the mandatory evacuation and tried to put out several brush fires, trees, and fences that were caught on fire until the last minute when they were overcome by the flames and had no choice but to leave. They didn’t spend their time trying to remove their belongings but instead helped their neighbors, meaning that in the end, they had to leave with only the clothes on their backs. These funds will be used for basic needs and will help them recover the life that they have lost. This is a devastating time as everyone needs extra support, anything helps.
