Help Holly Heal from Horse Riding Accident
Donation protected
Those blessed to know Holly Thomas understand that her love of horses and riding runs deep; it is her joy and self-proclaimed "therapy." Unfortunately, this morning Holly suffered a riding accident.
Holly sustained a gruesome injury to the hardest bone to break: the humerus, which is the upper arm bone and other than the leg bones, the longest bone in the body. She is (as I write) still at UNMC, where she was transported by ambulance, and where she now continues to undergo evaluation and treatment.
Beyond her physical pain from the break and continued medical procedures (including surgery), Holly now faces steep medical bills. She is an incredibly hard-working woman who will have to cope with a great deal of physical healing and mental/financial stress over the coming months.
If you feel so inclined, any donation will be greatly appreciated and put toward Holly's medical bills and recovery. Thank you for rallying around our girl!
