Help Holly get Hearing Aids
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Jen, mother of a beautiful 9 year old girl who has recently been diagnosed with Auditory Processing Disorder.
Auditory Processing Disorder is a neurodevelopmental disorder affecting the way the brain processes sounds. Individuals with APD usually have normal structure and function of the outer, middle, and inner ear (peripheral hearing). However, they cannot process the information they hear in the same way as others do, which leads to difficulties in recognizing and interpreting sounds, especially the sounds composing speech.
This means that without help Holly’s education and everyday life is affected.
To help Holly with this condition the doctors have recommended she uses special hearing aids, HOWEVER the hearing aids are not covered by government assistance and they are very expensive.
This is where your help can make a life changing difference to Holly, her education and self esteem.
Please, if you can help with any donation, no matter how small, it would make the world of difference to our beautiful girl’s life.
If you can’t financially help, please help by sharing with your friends, sports clubs, schools and workplaces.
Thank you so, so much.
