I am a mother doing everything I can to keep my kids safe and get them to school, but lately, my car keeps breaking down and stalling out in the middle of traffic, rain or shine. I’ve had to rent four different cars just to make sure my kids get to school, and yesterday, my car stalled again. My daughter’s graduation is in two weeks, and despite changing three sensors, the car keeps failing. I’m looking for help to get a reliable vehicle so I can continue getting my other three children to school and my daughter to her graduation.

The funds will go towards getting a reliable vehicle that does not keep breaking down or leaving us stranded in the heat. This is especially important because my son has chronic asthma, and being exposed to the heat can lead to an asthma attack. Having a dependable car will keep us safe and ensure we can get to school and important events without the constant worry of being stranded.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m really not one to ask for help—I’m always the one extending a helping hand to everyone I know, and the one people turn to. But now that I need help, no one’s around, and I’m having to swallow my pride as a mother and ask for support to make things safe and reliable for my children and those around me. Stalling out in traffic is not only a hazard to myself and my kids, but also to others driving nearby.
