Hi, my name is Holly and my dog Toofer and I were recently involved in a major auto accident which left us without a vehicle and a source of income. My vehicle was necessary to my work and daily life as Toofer and I are van lifers. Toofer, who always travels with me, was left with a broken back and is now paralyzed in his rear legs. I was very lucky and am just extremely bruised but will have permanent damage to my left eye. I am semi-retired and unable to work a standing job due to severe arthritis. I have been supporting myself for many years as a driver and artist/seamstress. This accident has left us without a steady income and Toofer and I with extensive medical bills. Toofer is my only companion and is a wonderful rescue Chiweenie dog.

I am just devastated for his loss and have extremely limited funds for his extended care. We are learning to navigate the world of canine paralysis together and it is very challenging without transportation and steady income. I really need to get back to work to support us both and will need another van to do so. Anyone who understands and appreciates our situation is greatly appreciated.
