Help Holly and Greg rebuild after devastating loss.

My name is Kathy Barry. Two days ago, one of my dearest friends experienced a catastrophic loss. Her name is Holly Burget. Her home of over 30 years caught fire and burned on Wednesday, February 19th at 7:30 AM. The house is a total loss. She lost not only all of her worldly possessions, but two of her beautiful Pomeranian dogs did not survive.

Many of the people reading this know Holly very well. Holly has owned and operated Salon Burget, an Overland Park salon, for 36 years. For the people who know her, she is an example of a dedicated local businesswoman who works tirelessly but always makes time for family, friends, clients, and community. She is passionate about health, good nutrition, and makes sure everyone around her benefits from her years of research and study on living a healthy life both physically and mentally.

Holly’s home was her retreat that she shared with her partner Greg and her 4 dogs, Bijou, Nibs, Sasha, and Jouer

Holly and Greg lost their home, car, and all possessions. Sadly, nothing can replace Sasha and Jouer, who died in the disaster. Holly's closest friends and family decided to start this GoFundMe to assist in the momentous task of rebuilding everything they lost. In times like this, it takes a community to support and help people who have always been here for us.
