This week, our dear friend Hollie Gaspard experienced a sudden and heartbreaking loss when a fire destroyed her home and everything inside it. What we know is that this happened very recently and completely changed Hollie’s life in a matter of moments.
Thankfully, Hollie was not home at the time the fire started - she was at work, doing what she always does: showing up, working hard, and caring for others. Tragically, she also lost a beloved fur baby in the fire, an unimaginable loss that has added deep heartbreak to an already devastating situation.
If you know Hollie, you know she is one of the most hardworking, compassionate, and selfless people you will ever meet. She is a professional hairdresser by trade and has touched countless lives through her work and her heart (including being the person who made me feel most beautiful on my wedding, just one example of how present and giving she is in the lives of others).
Hollie lives with Type 1 diabetes, which means replacing medications, supplies, and maintaining stability is especially critical during this time. Right now, she is facing the overwhelming reality of rebuilding from nothing — securing safe housing, replacing basic necessities, managing medical needs, and finding her footing after such profound loss.
This GoFundMe was created to help Hollie regain what can be regained. All proceeds will go toward:
Securing a safe, permanent place to live.
Covering medications and essential medical supplies.
Replacing clothing, personal belongings, and daily necessities.
Helping her begin again after losing nearly everything.
Any donation — no matter the amount — truly makes a difference. If you’re unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Hollie in your prayers.
Hollie is strong, resilient, and deeply loved.
Let’s come together and surround her with the same generosity, kindness, and care she has always shown to others.
Thank you for supporting Hollie during this incredibly difficult time
