For more than seven decades, Holle Thee Maxwell has lifted hearts around the world with her voice, her energy, and her compassion.
She has always given to others — now, she needs our help to walk again and live without pain.

What’s Happening Now
On October 10, Holle underwent her first knee replacement surgery and is working daily in rehabilitation to regain her strength and mobility.
A second knee replacement is expected in late December or January.
During this extended recovery, Holle cannot perform — her primary source of income — and needs help covering medical and living costs while she heals.

She Has Always Given to Others
Holle’s entire life has been about showing up for people.
During the pandemic, she founded Black Musicians Matter, a grassroots effort that fed and supported local musicians when gigs vanished and incomes disappeared.
For years, she has been the one delivering food, paying others’ bills, and organizing help for musicians in crisis.
Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
