Help Holland Byrd Fund Nurses

Hi, my name is Jack and I am fundraising for my brother Holland Byrd. In 2005 Holland was paralyzed from the neck down due to a spinal cord injury in a dirt bike accident. Since his injury Holland has gone Through a lot of medical issues, but none of them have been as bad as what happened recently. During the week leading up to Christmas while taking a nap Holland suffered a seizure which caused him to go into cardiac arrest and was without oxygen for several minutes. Holland is currently in the ICU recovering and has a long journey ahead of him to get back to where he was. Since he is paralyzed from the neck down he requires 24 hour nurse and caregiver assistance which the state has taken away while being in the hospital. We are asking for any financial assistance to help continue to pay his private nurses and caregivers to monitor him since he is unable to speak very well and is unable to call for help or ask for assistance. The hospital is unwilling to ensure someone checks in on him any more than their normal every few hour rounds. He desperately needs the 24 hour care that he has been given since his accident in 2005.
