We had a plan: Aaron gets hired at Blue Man Orlando, we’d move down when that happened, and at least we still had Blue Man Boston until then. Right?

The best-laid plans…

With Boston now closing in July, and Orlando not having a firm opening date (yet), we find ourselves having to change those plans on the fly. We need to move in August, before our lease here ends -- without having a job yet on the other end.

If you know us, you know we hate asking for help. But we also know how good it has felt to be in a position to support friends when they needed it—and how generous this community can be.

So we’re swallowing our pride and asking: if it would make you happy to help us and you can do so without hardship, we’d be incredibly grateful for any amount you can spare.

What We're Facing:

• Movers: $4,000

• First + Security on a new place: $3,200

• Car repairs, gas, hotel stays, dog (and possibly human) tranquilizers: $1,500

• Other stuff we’re surely forgetting: priceless

(Also not included: packing supplies, pantry staples that Aaron refuses to let us pack even though they’re only expired by a year or two, and the usual chaos of relocating two humans and two very opinionated dogs.)

This move is a leap of faith—but it’s the right one for us, and we’re hopeful about what’s ahead in Orlando.
