Help Hoddesdon Tennis Club Buy a Defibrillator

After the Danish footballer, Christian Eriksen, suffered a cardiac arrest whilst playing in the recent Euro 2020 match, we feel that it's important for Hoddesdon Tennis Club to have a defibrillator on site.

We have researched the price and we are looking at a cost of around £1000 for the machine itself, plus about £500 for a cabinet. Our preferred model of defibrillator can be applied to both an adult and a child at the flick of a switch rather than having to change the pads – thereby saving vital time!

We are hoping to raise half of this cost (£750) through this GoFundMe page, and the club will match this amount.

As a community tennis club and with over 300 members, we want to ensure everyone feels safe whilst playing the game they love. Any amount you can donate will be very much appreciated.
