Who we are

Hello everyone!! We are ECHOING and we dream of becoming the first Hmong dance group to combine Hmong dance with K-pop and hip-hop. We want to create H-pop (Hmong Pop). We are a group of young Hmong boys from Luang Prabang and 52 KM, Laos. Our members are Sa Vang, Bee Vue, Keng Xiong, Lai Xiong, Sengthid Thao, Jinou Lee, and Kongcheng Yang. We came together to form ECHOING because we share the same dream, to create Hmong pop dance.

Reasons we want to pursue our dream

When we think about this dream, it's something that most people our age would think it's impossible and most people will think we are too ambitious, but you never know until you try. It's something we are deeply passionate about and so personal to us. Sometimes it scares us to take the risk, but it would be the best thing to try. There are a few reasons why we want to pursue this dream wholeheartedly.

Firstly, this dream allows us to use our talents and skills while doing something that we genuinely enjoy. We believe that when you pursue something you're passionate about, you're more likely to focus and make a meaningful impact.

Secondly, this dream is an opportunity for personal growth and fulfillment. It pushes us out of our comfort zone and challenges us to constantly learn and develop new skills. We believe that in order to lead a fulfilling life, it's essential to continuously grow and evolve, and this dream does just that for us.

Lastly, this dream allows us to make a positive difference in the world. It gives us a chance to create something meaningful that can inspire and impact others. By pursuing this dream, we hope, we would inspire those around us to follow their own dreams and be the writer of their own book. We'll Stay true and believe in ourselves deeply and we're doing everything to put in the hard work to turn it into a reality.

Our Plan

Our plan is to rent a house in Vientiane where we can work and live together. We will have a daily schedule, write songs, and create choreography for our Music Videos. We'll take dance and singing classes to develop our skill in our own unique style and we'll keep seeking for more opportunities to perform our show on the stage, events or street, where we can gain more experience and confidence. We'll try to connect with other dancers and singers and we'll promote ourselves through Facebook , YouTube and TikTok so that we will be well-known in our community.

Why do we need this funding?

We really need the funding because, in Laos there’s less sponsors for dancers and most of us are still students from disadvantaged families so we don’t have the same opportunity as dancers in other countries. This funding will help us enormously!!

We will use the funding to rent a house, buy food, pay for dance, singing and instrument classes, household items etc,. Please review our budget for more detail.

The meaning of (ECHOING)

ECHOING comes from Each CHasing Our Inner Nature Gifts. We want some of the Hmoob cultures to Echo around the world.

LOUDER is our fandom name and it comes from Love Our Unity, Desire Equal Representation

Love Our Unity : Even though the Hmong community is so small, we still come together to support each other and because of this, we love our unity.

Desire Equal Representation: We, Hmong people are under-represented everywhere in the world, so we, ECHOING, want to bring our Hmong name to the world and make sure that we are equally represented like other groups.

We are ECHOING so let's ECHO LOUDER together to the world.

Let's Go!!!

Thank you so much for your kindness and support
