On July 8th, 2025, our family business, HMHormiguitas Beauty Supply, was tragically set on fire. This store has been our livelihood since 2011, and we are heartbroken by this loss.

For years, we’ve proudly served the community from our spot in Santee Alley, starting with toys, accessories, and clothes and eventually growing into a full beauty supply store. This business isn’t just a storefront to us it’s how we support our family, pay our bills, and continue our legacy.

The past few months have already been challenging with slower foot traffic, and now this fire has made things even harder. We’ve lost countless products, supplies, and a huge portion of our income. It’s difficult to put into words how much this has impacted us, but please believe us when we say it’s been devastating.
