Hello, My name is Kimberly. I’m a 37 year old wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend etc in the middle of a torturous painful battle after being hit by a truck on Beltline overpass on Feb 12th 2022 in Eugene, Oregon while I was trying to retrieve a box spring from the middle of the road that had flown out the back of a truck & landed in front of my car. I turned on my hazards immediately & the people behind me did the same thing. When people had started slowing down & traffic was coming to a stop I felt “safe” to remove the box spring from in front of my car. I propped the box spring up against the cement barrier & started turning around as I saw a burgundy colored truck coming out of the corner of my eye at a high rate of speed, driving ON THE SHOULDER/EMERGENCY LANE. My quick thinking saved me from being killed because I ran backwards & the man hit me on the left side of my body with the front passenger side of his truck. If I hadn’t moved when I did I would’ve been ran over & killed. I tried getting up when I realized I couldn’t walk & I laid down on my right side. The driver pulled up a little after hitting me & running over the box spring & got out of his truck started walking towards me & as I was begging for him to help me saying “please don’t let me die” he then turned around got back in his truck & left. I’m now out of work for the minimum of 3-6months with no pay & this has caused tremendous amounts of PTSD, anxiety, self doubt, PAIN, it’s taken away my independence & so much more. If you can find it in your heart to help me out I’d be more than grateful, thankful & it’d be more than appreciated! Pray that we can find the horrible person(driver) responsible for this & something can be done about him leaving me to die! If you don’t want to donate on here but want to help out I do have Cashapp, Paypal & Venmo. Cashapp: $kspencer0718 Paypal: @KimberlyS0718 Venmo: @KimberlySpencer-0718 Thank you for reading my story!
