Hi, I’m Nada and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Hind and her family.

Hind, a skilled pharmacist, and her family have experienced unimaginable tragedy and hardship in Gaza. On December 3, 2023, a massive explosion destroyed her sister’s home in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, where Hind and her daughters were staying for the night. The blast buried them under the rubble. Hind’s daughter, Mervat, who was only 12 years old, died in her mother’s arms. Her other daughters, Sarah (10) and Farah (4), were injured but survived. The tragedy didn’t end there; she later received the devastating news that her sister, whom she relied on heavily, had also died.

Hind herself sustained serious injuries and spent a month in the hospital and another month in temporary shelter due to the destruction of her home. Now, Hind is living in desperate conditions with relatives in an overcrowded space, struggling to cope with the physical and emotional aftermath of this tragedy.

Hind’s hope for a safer future lies in leaving Gaza. She needs around $40000 USD to cover the costs of travel and establishing a new life for herself and her surviving daughters. This amount would allow her to escape the continuous cycle of violence and provide a secure environment for her family.
