Hi, I'm Georgia and I'm Hime's person. She's my little princess and has been a perfect angel since she and her brother were adopted by me. She's always had a little caul in her left eye and sometimes it would weep but otherwise, no real problems. However, now that she's a mature lady, her eye has taken a turn for the worse. I've spent a lot on medical care and antibiotics. It can't stay clear and lately, it's not helping at all. Her eye sometimes leaks caustic fluids that burn the fur off her eye area, and sometimes produces bloody discharge. Worse, it hurts her. She's still as sweet as ever and a big bucket of needy love but some days, she's yelping and trying to scratch the side of her head.

If this was last year, it wouldn't be a problem. But last year, I lost my job the day after Thanksgiving. We're on a very limited budget so my savings can last until I find a new job. However, the AC/Heating unit on the house went out, and that's just one of several other emergencies that've happend in 10 months. I don't know how long my job hunt will take. I've been very close, so I can't dig into my savings any more. Even reaching half of my goal makes her surgery affordable. I don't need heat or AC but I do need my little furbuddy to not be in pain.
