Help Officer Hasanpapa with medical expenses

The American Albanian Law Enforcmeent Association is raising funds for medical expenses for a fellow Albanian Police Officer that was injured in the line of duty. We greatly appreciate any donation, no amount is too small, all proceeds will be donated to Officer Resmi Hasanpapa. 

On 5/24/04 Officer Hasanpapa was doing street patrol with his partner Allaman Dervishi on the Tirana-Durres Highway. At approximately 2:05 am the officers observed a suspicious vehicle that was wanted in connection with a prior crime. As the two officers approached the vehicle, the occupants of the vehicle fired with automatic weapons striking both officers. Officer Dervishi died at the scene and Officer Hasanpapa was greatly injured leaving him paralyzed. Eighteen years later Officer Hasanpapa is still utilizing a wheel chair and is still paralyzed. Officer Hasanpapa has no source of income and is currently homeless and can not afford any type of medical care for the injuries he sustained while on duty.
