Hi everyone, my name is Shirley and I’m putting this fundraiser together for my friend Smokey during one of the hardest times of his life.

If you know Smokey, then you already know he’s one of the real ones. Originally from Jersey but a Vegas local through and through, Smokey has spent over 15 years behind the bar on the East Side taking care of people, making everyone laugh, and showing love to the community every single day.

Now he’s the one who needs some help.

Smokey recently suffered a serious injury, tearing his ACL and MCL and fracturing his tibia. He’s facing surgery, a long recovery, and won’t be able to work for a while. Anybody in the service industry knows if you can’t walk, you can’t work. Between medical expenses, rent, bills, and everyday costs, things are piling up fast.

If Smokey has ever poured you a drink, made you laugh, checked in on you, or showed you kindness over the years, this is the time to show it back.
