Help Hilly Battle Metastatic Breast Cancer

Anyone who knows our sister Hilary Hamilton knows that she is an amazing, wonderful, incredible sister, wife, mother, friend, and person. Hilary has been battling metastatic breast cancer for several years now, but the cancer has reached a point where Hilary is no longer able to work. With three children this will, not surprisingly, cause some financial hardship for her beautiful family.

Anyone who has had a friend or family member battling metastatic breast cancer can understand the frustration and feeling of helplessness you have in not being able to do more for your loved one. The treatments to keep her alive have been brutal, and she has somehow still managed to be here for her friends and family with the grace, style and wit that she has always possessed. Funds raised here will go to help the family with ongoing medical expenses and just the costs of daily living for a family of five. In addition, her family recently moved from California to North Carolina, so they still have some of their belongings in CA that need to be moved to their home now.

We will never understand why this had to happen to our loving and fantastic sister. She is now and has always been nothing but a shining light of goodness, fun and support her entire life, and is the rock of her family. But we are not here to figure out cancer - we are here to support Hilary in her fight against cancer and help her live as happy and healthy of a life as she can in the time she has remaining. Your generous donation will help ease the stress of financial matters for our sister, which sometimes feels like all we can do against this horrible and cruel disease.
