On Monday December 18, our friend, Hilario, was on the Cascades 501 derailment. He suffered several broken ribs, a broken pelvis, and a couple fractured vertebra. He is expected to fully recover, however it will probably be at least three months before he can return to work. In the meantime he will only be making 60% of his regular pay through L&I, so now we are "passing around the hat" to help him have an easier recovery. Please share what you can.
