Help High Schoolers Attend the NHD National Competition

Our names are Alexandria Pack and Alexandra Ramirez, and we are raising money to attend the National History Day National Competition in Maryland on June 9th-13th. Attending this competition would be a valuable opportunity for us to share a history project that we are passionate about, and to represent our school, Dove Science Academy, as the first group who has won in the state competition and qualified for nationals.

As young women coming from low income families while attending a small, Title I school it is important for us to share our group website with the world because it speaks about the turning point in history caused by Title IX, a law that mandates and allows for all American citizens a right to equal educational opportunities funded by the federal government.

The money that this GoFundMe raises will be used towards transportation (Oklahoma to Maryland), lodging and food fees, and other necessities towards this trip.
